Here are the wonderful first B-day pictures

here is the picture of his basketball cake that forever more will haunt himSo in the beginning he cried a little when we stuck on his B-day hat but he soon got over that and began to think the hat and the singing was pretty cool

So an hour later we tried it all again, and the horror filled his screeching cry.
So of course we gave the cake thing two days hoping all the bad memories would fade, but no, he cried the second we put the cake in front of him

We'll here is our little boys birthday announcement. We can hardly believe he is one. We will miss so many of you who live so far away. We love you all

This is the look! I get this look all the time. Look at those beautiful blue eyes. I love his messy hair it must have a days worth of food stuck in it.

So there is a photographer out of Chicago who works only with natural light, and she is absolutely amazing. So here was my little attempt this Sunday afternoon. It was pretty cloudy so I shot on 800 ISO, but it was sure a lot of fun just shooting in my bedroom. The only hard thing jory and I had was trying to keep Lucas on the bed.
